Ladies and gentlemen
, roll up your sleeves, loosen your ties, take off your suit jackets and don the Cucina Casalinga aprons.  Sally Maraventano, owner of Cucina Casalinga, chef and cookbook author will instruct and guide your group of up to 20 people in the hands-on cooking techniques of Italian cuisine from basic sauces to pizza to risotto.  Cook and learn together with your colleagues and team leaders while creating a fabulous lunch or dinner to be shared after the lesson. Experience an off-premise outing with the relaxing pace and comfort of a pastoral setting and Italian home cooking lessons to "boot"!

After the class, feast on the fruits of your labor.  During mild weather enjoy the aroma of pizza baking in the outdoor wood-burning oven on the patio overlooking the formal Italian herb garden. During winter months dine around the family style table intimately tucked between the kitchen and the comforting, crackling fireplace. Guests enjoy the conversation and interact in a relaxed setting.

    3-hour classes, flexible starting times. Daytime classes Monday - Friday followed by lunch, evening classes Monday - Thursday followed by dinner
  • Multi-course menus include 2 glasses of wine per person, coffee and dessert
  • Menu ideas: A Taste of Sicily, Spaghettata - (a pasta party), A Tuscan Feast, Harvest Dinner by the Fire, Pizza Presto, Dining al Fresco, Comfort Foods and an Elegant Dinner Party
  • 3-hour Classes start at $155 per person +20% gratuity
    (Prices include the hands-on cooking lesson with printed recipes and a sit-down luncheon or dinner following the class. Wine, coffee and dessert are also included).
    A $500 deposit is required at the time of booking. Balance is due 14 days prior to the event
  • Flexible starting times, Monday - Friday for morning classes followed by lunch, Monday - Thursday afternoons followed by an antipasti buffet

Group Size: minimum 10 to 20 guests

Purchase an autographed copy of Sally Maraventano's cookbook, Festa del Giardino, and personally monogrammed aprons as a special memento for your group.
