Sunday Dinner at Nonna’s House!
Antipasto – seeded breadsticks with salami and prosciutto, Provolone cheese and roasted peppers drizzled with extra virgin olive oil
Sally’s Quick Marinara Sauce
Manicotti di Mamma – homemade crepes filled with ricotta and mozzarella, topped with tomato sauce and baked in the oven
Pollo alla Parmigiana – chicken tenders “Italian style” with Parmigiano cheese and fresh breadcrumbs
Pane origanato – Grandpa Tony’s crusty bread with extra virgin olive oil
and oregano baked in the oven
Pacciugo – Ice cream sundaes with fresh peaches, raspberry sauce and crushed Amaretti cookies

Let’s Make Bread - With Sally’s Famous Homemade Dough!
Corona di Pane – dough shaped and baked into a crown of bread
Muffaletta Sandwich – layered sandwich with tapenade, Italian cold cuts and mozzarella cheese made with the corona di pane
Stromboli Panzone – rolled bread stuffed with sausage and cheese
Individual Pizzette – create your own mini pizza with assorted toppings
Insalata Mista – mixed green salad with basil tomato “French” dressing
Monkey Bread – pull apart sweet bread with cinnamon and sugar
Macedonia di Frutta Fresca – fresh melon and berries

Bruschetta al Pomodoro – grilled bread, rubbed with garlic and topped with diced fresh tomato, basil and extra virgin olive oil
Orecchiette con Broccoli e Pesto – “little ear” pasta with sautéed broccoli and garden fresh pesto
Arrosticini di Pollo con Salsa alla Senape – skewered grilled chicken breast tenders on the grill with a mustard sauce
Verdure alla Grigila – marinated and grilled garden vegetables with fresh herbs, extra virgin olive oil and balsamic vinegar

We are honored to welcome back Guest Chef Maria Sanchez owner of Sweet Maria’s Bakery in Waterbury for our second day of camp. Maria will delight the kids with baking and decorating tips. Maria is the author of eight Italian cookbooks including Small, Sweet and Italian” and the “The New Lasagna Cookbook”
Enjoy learning the latest trend in cake decorating – the “Drippy” Cake - each student will make and take home their own decadent cake with delicious drippy ganache
Maria’s Thumb Print Cookies – voted the best in Connecticut and best in the state by Good Housekeeping
Roasted Chicken with Vegetables – How to roast the perfect chicken – herbed chicken surrounded by fresh onions, zucchini and gold potatoes. A meal in a dish for lunch!
